This Badge set would have been worn by all soldiers in the Royal Winnipeg Rifles Regiment on their BD Battle Dress uniform in Operation Overlord the Invasion of Normandy as part of the 3rd Canadian Infantry division when they arrived in landing Crafts on the morning of 6th June 1944,
He was a member of the 3rd Division and so wears the Div patch and on both upper Arms with his Regimental shoulder titles above these.
