The barrel cover was designed to stop the soldier when carrying the Vickers on his shoulder from being burnt if the barrel was hot still from firing.
This is the long version which can be used to hide the smooth jacket on your Vickers.
- Length 46cms
- Width 34cms
- 8 pairs of brass eyelets with cord
- 1" webbing strap with brass buckle
- Lightly padded.
Please note it is padded but not with asbestos as the original would have been.
