Known as zeltstock 01 by the German Army during 1939-1945
During WW2 the German soldier in the Army SS and Luftwaffe would have been issued this pole with his Zeltbahn tent section to make up a Simple Zeltbahn tent with 4 Zeltbahns and only 4 pole sections, this would have provided 4 soldiers protection from the elements

To use the pole for a tent, 4 poles can be fitted into each other, simply by pushing together to make a pole of 1,35 metres. Which is enough for either a 4 or 2 for a 8 section Zeltbahn tent
