The Battle of Dunkirk (Dunkerque) was fought around the town of Dunkirk, France,between the Allies and German Army, As the Allies were losing the Battle of France on the Western Front, the Battle of Dunkirk was the defence and evacuation to Britain of British, French and other Allied forces in Europe from 26 May to 4 June 1940.
This sign is impressive and will look good on your display or in your den. Its made of 18 Gauge steel like they would have been in the 1940's, with Blue lettering on a white background. The sign has then been aged to add a little authenticity to it. It is scratched, rusted, chipped with bullet holes to finish it off.
