NCO's General Goring Cuff Title by RUM
German WW2 Luftwaffe "General Goring" cuff title for N.C.O.'s by Richard Underwood Militaria (R.U.M.).
The General Goring cuff title is the first version cuff title and was introduced in 1936 when the Hermann Goring Division was a Regiment.
The General Goring cuff title was worn untll it was officially replaced by the "Hermann Goring" cuff title in 1942. General Goring cuff title can be seen worn on Luftwaffe tropical tunics in the North Africa campaign.
This NCO's General Goring cuff title or cuff band is a high quality reproduction is made on navy blue wool which is embroidered in silver grey thread with silver grey lace at the top and bottom of the cuff title.
When this unit was first formed in 1936 it was only a regiment and they wore a cuff band with General Goring on it. When the unit was expanded in 1942 from a regiment to a Brigade then to a Division the cuff band/ cuff title changed to "Hermann Goring".

- 1942 Unit is enlarged and becomes a Brigade then a Division when it changes the cuff title to "Hermann Goring" in Gothic Script text.
