Luftwaffe Rank Tresse Lace Late War Subdued
Subdued grey rank tresse for the collars and shoulders of tunics.
This tresse or lace is stitched around the collars or on the shoulder boards of the tunics to identify the wearers rank.
This tresse is the correct pattern for wear by the Luftwaffe. The SS and Heer (Army) wore a different pattern of lace.
This is the later war version which is a grey/green subdued colour and made of cotton rather than the earlier bright silver tresse which had a wire thread in it.
The tresse is sold and priced for a 1 meter length.
