Black leather officers belt for the service uniform.
This belt was issued between 1933 and 1945 it was worn first by the Allgemeine SS and was then used by Officers as part of the service uniform.
It was worn as part of the service uniform in the field, around camp and while off duty. The round buckle easily came unfasten in the field so it was often replaced by the plain officers leather belt with a double claw buckle as the buckle double claw buckle was more secure than this belt, but it was still worn when not in the field.
This German Officers leather belt was also worn with a cross strap in the pre war and early part of WW2.
For full dress wear the round buckle that was worn with this belt was worn on the brocade belt (silver wire bullion belt).
The price is for the leather belt only it has the female part of the buckle clasp on one end but it does not include the buckle or cross strap. The buckle and cross strap are sold separately see below in related items.
