M40 German DAK deutsche afrika korps Infantry WW2 steel helmet.

Replica German WW2 helmet with a sand (Gelbbraun) gloss coloured painted finish on the metal shell. As this has a gloss finish it would be best for you to age the finish to give it a better look.

Worn by German Soldiers in North Africa 21 February 1941 – 13 May 1943

Includes the shell, liner, chinstrap and double decals.

This is a replica WW2 German infantry M40 model which has the rolled or "crimped" edge to the rim, in later models this rolled edge was omitted as a cost saving measure. The two air vents also replicate the large insert-able rivet vents.
