German Helmet Net for Camouflage

The helmet net was an officially made cover all steel helmets and to allow grass etc to be inserted which breaks up the soldiers silhouette The Helmet net has 6 clips around the edge to hook over the rim and drawstring top so it could fit any size helmet.
Made from heavy duty tan cord with 6 metal clips

During WW2 the German soldier made his own helmet camouflage whether it be a rubber car inner tube cut up, chicken wire or Hessian sacking, but with the introduction this helmet cover as standard issue soldiers did not need to make there own if they were lucky enough to receive one.
