M40 Gebirgsjager (Mountain Troops) Mans Shoulder Boards by RUM

 German Army Mountain troops (Gebirgsjager) shoulder boards for enlisted mans in field grey for the M40, M42 and M43 tunics.

We refer to the shoulder boards as the M40 model or pattern simply as they can be worn with the M40, M42, M43 and the M44 uniforms. They are sometimes referred to as the M43, mid war, late war or just the field grey shoulder boards but we call them the M40 for ease of identity.
