German M41 Officers Tunic in Garbardine by RUM

German WW2 officers M36 tunic in gabardine.

This officers dress tunic is made from a wool mix with a gabardine weave so is a smoother finish than the normal german combat uniforms.

Features:

• 4 pocket design with pleated pockets.
• Silver coloured buttons.
• Dark green collar.
• Stiffened neck with two metal hook and eye fasteners.
• Wool mix tunic with a gabardine weave.
• Fieldgreen (grey green) colour.
• Rayin liner in main body.
• The sleeves are lined in a white rayon with stripes.
• On the shoulders there is a single button and a slot in the shoulder seam for the officers shoulder boards to be sewn into.
• On the inside of the lower left hand pocket is an opening for the hanger straps for a dress dagger.

This is tunc is worn with grey trousers or breeches, the tunic and trousers are supposed to be a different colour.
