Luftwaffe Officers Fliegerbluse in Gabardine Fabric by RUM

German WW2 Officers Luftwaffe Fliegerbluse tunic by Richard Underwood Militaria.

This Luftwaffe officers Fliegerbluse tunic is made from a wool mix with a gabardine weave so is a smoother finish than the normal German combat uniforms.

The Gabardine Officers Luftwaffe Fliegerbluse tunic by Richard Underwood features:

• Silver wire thread around the colour.
• 2 cambered side pockets.
• Open neck design.
• Wool mix tunic with a gabardine weave.
• Luftwaffe blue colour.
• Rayin liner in main body.
• Two inside chest pocket.
• The sleeves are lined in a white rayon with stripes.
• On the shoulders there is a single silver coloured button and a slot in the shoulder seam for the officers shoulder boards to be sewn into.
• A strap with a small D loop attached on the end is sewn into the seam of the left arm pit so you can attach your hanging straps for a dress dagger onto.

German WW2 flying blouse, the Fliegerbluse was not a paratrooper specific item as it was issue to air crew and paratroopers.
