1934 to 1938 German Wehrpass Early War Issue

German military Wehrpass, 1st version issued between 1934 and 1938.

The Wehrpass was issued to every volunteer and conscript that was drafted into the military. It contains and records the persons personal details and service information.

The box on the bottom of the cover would show which service the holder was in this would be in teh form of a stamp or hand written. The box show Heer, Luftwaffe, Kriegsmarine or Waffen SS. 

The small box in the top corner would have the holders intials written in.

The book has 52 printed paper and the cover is made of card with fold out wings on the front and back.

• Page 1. Name, Civilian ID number, employment number. Signature of the officer who is entering the details and place.
• Page 2. Owners photograph.
• Page 3 and 4. Personal details like Name, date of birth, place of birth etc.
• Page 5. Registration details. Date of registration, volunteer or conscript, place of registration, physical classification the options where active duty, army labour, fit for combat, garrison duty, job deferment, front line duty. 
• Pages 6 and 7. Information on national labour service and which unit he would serve in the military. 
• Pages 8,9 and 10. Serivce record, any previous service in the labour corps and any promotions.
• Pages 12 to 15. Active service, unit, date and roster number.
• Pages 20 and 21. Training record covering weapons, military schools and medical training.
• Pages 22 and 23. Promotions and awards.
• Page 24. Date of discharge.
• Page 34, Wounds recieved.
• Page 46. List of equipment issued.
