Protective breech cover for the German WW2 MG34 machine gun.
This canvas cover wraps around the breech to protect the working parts on the breech.
The MG34 action cover or breech cover features:
- Made from heavy duty canvas.
- Secured by 3 leather straps which fasten onto metal studs.
- Three of the edges have a trim of thick felt for protection.
- On the inside there are 4 leather reinforced panels which are positioned on the wear points.
- One round hole reinforced with leather.
- Metal clip on the back sewn onto the canvas with leather.
