The military Khukri was made in India by traditional craftsman and then issued to the soldiers who not only served in India and the middle East but also on the Western front during WW1.
In WW2 the Ghurkhas served in the Desert Rats in North Africa, Italy at Monte Casino and as Chindits in Burma.
