US M3 knife Made by Imperial Marked on Guard With M8 Scabbard Original

US M3 knife made by Imperial, marked on the cross guard and includes an M8 scabbard original.
Genuine WW2 M3 knife.
The cross guard is marked " US M3 IMPERIAL". The stamping is clear.
Knife is in used condition. The blade is in nice condition has some odd bits of grease which will wipe off, it has no chips and does not look to have been resharpened. The cross guard is tight and is clearly marked "US M3 Imperial". On the top of the pommel there is the flaming bomb logo stamped into it, this is the military Ordnance acceptance inspection stamp.
The only issue is the handle where some of the leather washers have cracked. This is on the side of the handle and there is a clear gap where the leather washers have come apart.
The M8 scabbard is marked on the front of the metal throat guard with "US M8 B.M. co" So it is the first pattern scabbard but it has been modified later with a belt hanger being stitched into the top of the belt loop.
