MKII (S) Sten Silencer for Deactivated Gun (Metric thread)

Replica MKII (S) Sten gun silencer for a Deactivated MKII sten gun.

we have recieved a few replica silencer that have been made in Metric thread and not imperial and will only screw on 1/2 a turn of an original barrel..

Please note there are no baffles inside and is NOT to be used on a firing gun. It will not reduce any noise its a replica.

• Overall size: 330 x 38 mm (length x diameter)
• Made of steel and finished in a Grey paint 
• Metric Threaded and willnot fit a real sten gun 

In January 1943 resistance groups asked for a silenced version of the sten gun and so the MKII silencer was developed to retro fit onto a MKII sten gun.The design called for the barrel nut and barrel to be removed removed by unscrewing them. The silencer, with built in barrel, is then fitted. The silencer had a series of 18 internal baffles to help suppress the sound. Lower power ammunition, a lighter spring and breach were required when using the silencer.
