US Army Black Tie.
The US Army wore the black tie before WW2 along with the tan tie. Then in August 1942 the black tie was removed from service and onlt the tan tie was worn.
In the 1950's the black tie was reintroduced into the US Army with the Dress Green's uniform.
So this tie is good for pre WW2 impressions and 1950's/1960's Vietnam impressions (but not WW2 impressions).
