It is very similar to the WW2 Garand belt but it has extra straps on the inside of the pouches to hold the two clips of ammo.
This cartridge belt was issued in WW1 for the Springfield rifle and was still being issued in WW2.
It is very similar to the WW2 Garand belt but it has extra straps on the inside of the pouches to hold the two clips of ammo. The belt will adjust to a maximum of 130cm (51") this does not mean it will fit a 51" waist as you need space for the belt to go over tunics, trousers etc.
This is made using an economy webbing and is not as good as our webbing items we normally sell, also some of the press studs on the internal pocket straps are discoloured or rusty. the price reflects the quality of this item.
