This is an good example of a British Made WW1 MK2 Brodie Helmet still with the leather chinstrap and metal buckle complete but Broken) The Brodie has not been painted and has the original paint finish to both outer and inner 

Stamped BS69 on rear 

Maker BS  (W.Beardmore & Co Ltd of Glasgow.)

69 referes to company who rolled out the steel 

The original oil cloth liner is still in good condition, flexible 

This is the British Made  model with the chinstrap hangers attached by split pins
