This ring was moulded from the one worn by Forest Guth (Easy coy 506th PIR 101st AB div) in WW2.
It was purchased at the P.X. in Camp Tocca while he was in training there and was a popular item for paratroopers to purchase after they passed jump school.
These were one of the types of rings that qualified airborne troops purchased during WWII.
These are British made silver rings and are hall marked.
