- Brown cotton liner.
- Talon branded zipper.
- Goatskin leather outer with a cotton liner.
- Two front boxed shaped pockets with shaped pocket flaps.
- The closure studs on the pocket flaps are United Carr branded.
- Back of jacket is made from a single piece of leather so there is no seam down the back.
- Knitted elastic waist band and sleeve cuffs are a darker shade of russet brown to the leather.
- The tips of the leather collars have press studs on them so they can be fastened down to the body of the jacket.
- At the neck of the jacket there is the distinctive metal hook and eye fastener, this is where pilots would often attach a whistle to.
- The inside of the neck has a period looking label sewn in and below this there is the USAAF logo stamp and the AN stamp.

These are sized like like the originals so they are regular fit, they are not a baggy or loose design of jacket. They are design to be slimmer on waist area than the chest, order your normal chest size unless you have waist larger than your chest.
