US WW2 Officers Summer Service Chino Uniform

American WW2 Summer Service Uniform for an Officer.

These are often called Chino's but the official name is the summer service uniform.

This uniform pack set is for a Captain in the Infantry but it can be used for any offiicer in the US militay by just adding/changing the insignia to whichever rank or branch of service you want. You would have to purchase any different rank or branch of service seperatley but this does mean you can use the same uniform for differnt impressions.

The officers summer service uniform pack set includes the following;

• Summer Service Officer's shirt.
• Captain x 1 and Infantry Branch of Service x1 metal badges for collar.
• Tan tie.
• Summer Service Overseas garrison cap.
• Captain rank bars for cap.
• Summer Service M1937 trousers.
• Officers trouser belt with brass buckle.
• Service Boots

The summer shirt is made by Kay Canvas and has long sleeves and epaulets on the shoulders. The shirt can be worn with just the collar badges if being worn under a jacket or if no jacket is being worn you can add extra insignia like medal bars and awards like pilots wings etc. The top button can be worn open or fastened and worn with a tan tie. 

The overseas garrison cap has the correct black and gold braid for officer's.

The trouser are the correct M1937 pattern with the 1940's style which are worn high.

Service boots are the standard field boots before the roughout boots where introduced and where often kept for there best boots.
