US Army Camouflage HBT Trousers in Light Tone Camouflage

The difference between this one and our other one is the base colour is a lighter tone more sand than green. The camouflage colour shades do vary quite a bit on original clothing and the lighter tone background seems to be more evident on the more heavier washed examples.
The American WWII Army camo trousers are officially called "Trousers, Herringbone Twill, Camouflage" (H.B.T.).
These camouflage trousers were worn in Normandy by some US Army units such as the 41st Armoured Infantry Battalion which was part of the 2nd Armoured Division in WW2.

Features:
- Cargo leg pockets, closed by plastic buttons.
- Button fly with a flap behind it which was an Anti gas flap.
- Tabs on ankles to tighten the trousers in.
- Reinforced patch on the knees.
- Belt loops on waist for a trouser belt.
The uniform was originaly developed and used in the jungle fighting of the Pacific war. This is the Army camo version and was not used by the USMC. The outer side has a predominantly green camouflage and the inner, a sand camouflage. These follow the original design in that there are pockets only on the green side
