M1A1 Carbine Paratrooper Case Leg Scabbard for the M1A1 Carbine Original WW2
Original WW2 paratrooper M1A1 carbine canvas case.
This is the leg scabbard for the airborne M1A1 Carbine the one fitted with the folding stock.
Hard to read the maker but it looks like Allter Products Inc 1943.
A nice geuine bag that shows some wear but not much. The leg strap on the bottom has been removed nd restitched 6 inches up from the bottom.
This has a belt loop on the back.
Used by paratroopers when they jumped into combat.
The holster/scabbard is lightly padded is closed by two lift the dot fasteners and is in the earlier OD3 tan colour with OD 7 webbing edges.
