The purchase of this product is restricted.

You must be over 18 years of age to purchase a knife. By ticking this box you consent to an age verification check by Experian.

Original US M3 knife made by Imperial which is marked on the blade includes an M8A1 scabbard.

Genuine WW2 M3 knife.

This is the early version with the maker mark being stamped into the blade.

The blade is marked " US M3 IMPERIAL". The stamping is clear.

Knife is in used condition and shows use, the blade has a bit of staining which gives it a nice patina. The cross guard is loose possibly due to some shrinkage to the leather

The shape of the handle is slightly different to other M3 knives and it looks like the leather washers have been replaced at some stage which is why it looks a different shape and they have shrunk over time which is why  the cross guard is loose and there is a small gap between the pommel and the leather washers. The pommel also moves (wobbles).

There is no flaming bomb logo stamped into the pommel.

The M8A1 scabbard is marked on the front of the metal throat guard with "US M8A1" the metal belt hanger has been removed. The scabbard is a post war scabbard.

A nice used original US Army M3 knife.

  • Every product for sale from Soldier of Fortune is entirely legal to sell and to own in the UK.
  • When carrying or using a knife, there are a few simple laws which may apply to you that you should be aware of:-
  • You can carry a small folding (non locking) pocket knife with a cutting edge of less than 3" in any place in theUKthat doesn’t have specific restrictions against pointed instruments e.g. airports
  • If you need to use a locking knife for added safety, or a fixed bladed knife then you may be required to give ‘good reason’ for carrying it if asked to do so by a Police Officer. Good reason may include, pursuit of a leisure activity e.g. re-enactment, fishing, camping, hunting, or as a tool of work or trade e.g. military, joiner, plumber or delivery driver.
  • Carry and use your knife responsibly. A knife is a tool and an everyday object that should not be used irresponsibly.
