US Army Pro Kit WW2 Individual Chemical Prophylactic Packet.

An excellent reproduction of this piece of kit that was familiar with a lot of US soldiers in WW2. Originals are very difficult to find. 

This make a great addition to any WW2 display and make for a different talking point which is not always discussed.

Packet reads "PRO-KIT Individual Chemical Prophylactic Packet (for protection against venereal disease only) contents 1. Tube containing 5 grams ointment. FOR ARMY USE ONLY 2. Soap impregnated cloth 3. Direction sheet 4. Cleaning tissue Iten No. 9118000

These where issued to prevent the spread of sexual transmitted diseases. Please note these are sold for display purposes and are not intended for use, these do not offer any protection against venereal diseases.

This reproduction has all the details of the original and includes the correct looking printed paper envelope, a replica tube of ointment (empty) with correct label which is wrapped in hessian cloth just like the originals. A white cloth which has been soaked in a liquid ointment to give it a medical smell and a printed paper instruction sheet on how to use the kit.
