Original WW2 leather holster for the M1911 and M1911A1 Colt 45 pistol.
This is a genuine WW2 M1916 Leather Belt Holster made by Graton & Knight.
Good used condition the back is stamped "US Graton & Knight Co" (no date) with a large US in an oval on the front flap.
The colour is black as it has been dyed after the war, you can still see a bit of the original brown colour on the back. The holster still holds its shape and stiffness to the leather.
Nice original 1940's holster. Graton & Knight made about 188,000 holsters during WW2 for the US Army.
