WW2 USMC M1936 Pistol Belt
In WW2 the US Marines used the standard US military M1936 pistol belt, the same as the Army used, but they had different markings on them. These USMC M36 belts have "U.S.M.C." stamped on the inside of the belt and unlike the US Army versions there are no "U.S." stamp on the outside.
The belt has the press stud to fix a magazine pouch to.
The M36 USMC WW2 belt features:
- No "U.S." stamping on the outside (like on the US Army belts).
- "U.S.M.C." stamped on the inside, which is how these belts are stamped.
- Black metal eyelets and buckle.
- Press stud on the front to fasten a Colt 45 magazine pouch or a Carbine ammunition pouch to.
As the war continued the Marines used more Army marked equipment.
Size adjusts from 32 to 56" (80 to 143cm) in length.
OD#3 (khaki/tan) colour.
