US 2 Qt Canteen 1965 Model
2nd pattern 2 qt canteen and cover.
Square collapsible canteen and nylon cover introduced in 1965.
The cover is stamped on the back "cover canteen callapsible 2 quart capacity MWSE 8465-89-3769.
The bladder is "Floatation bladder canteen water collapsible 2 quart capacity MWSE 8465-889-3769.
These where only issued for a short time being replaced by the more common 2 qt canteen.
Not sure on the date of manufacture of these, I suspect they are from the late 1970's/1980's.
Used grade 1 condition.
