US Army WW2 ETO Women's Trousers WAC Slacks
American 1940's women's trousers for Officer's and enlisted personnel.
Officially called "Slacks" these trousers where issued as part of the E.T.O. (European Theatre of Operations) uniform introduced in 1944.
These were worn with short E.T.O. Ike jacket.
The E.T.O. uniform in OD#37 was issued to both Officers and enlisted personnel but some Officers privately purchased the uniform made in the Officers dark OD 51 fabric.
The Women's trousers have the original features including the 1940's high waisted trousers.

The Women's trousers have the following features:
- Correct 1940's high waist style.
- 2 button closure on the left hand side.
- Pleats and darts at the waist line.
- Waist can be adjusted with the tab and 3 buttons on the waist band on the left hand side.
- Hand pocket on the right hand side
- Two buttons on the back of the inside of the waistband (these were to fasten onto the ETO Ike jacket).

Sizes are measured with the trousers laid out flat, the waist is measured across the top of the trousers and the leg length is the inside length.
Please note these are a 1940's design and are worn high on the waist.
