The Sten magazine pouch was made because the original 1937 Mk1 and Mk2 ammo pouches where too short for 32 round Sten mags.
Originally made from modified (cut down) R.N. Lanchester 50 round magazine pouches. By the end of the war there was not enough of the modified pouches so purpose made pouches where made to fit the Sten magazines. Our pouches are the specially made Sten pouches and not the cut down model.
Each 1937 Sten pouch fits 3 mags and are divided inside to hold the mags in better.
Our pouches are matching sets and will fit straight onto your 1937 webbing belt.
