Tan Tie US Army Officers & Enlisted Mans WW2
US Army World War Two tan tie.
The Necktie was worn by Officers and Enlisted men as part of the A class dress uniform and the Summer Service (Chino) uniform. It could also be worn with the M41 jacket and wool shirt.
These ties are made longer than the original war time ones, so they fit better as today's average man is taller than the man from the 1940's.
If you are wearing a shirt without a jacket or tunic then officially the loose ends of the tie were tucked in between the 1st and 2nd button on the front of the shirt.
