Tank Destruction Badge Silver by RUM
German WW2 tank destruction badge silver grade.
This badge features a black metal tank badge attached to a strip of silver aluminium wire which is sewn onto a wool backing.
The tank destruction award in black on a silver backing was awarded for the destruction of an enemy tank by a hand held weapon. Each award was for one destroyed tank so up to 4 awards could be worn as when you reached 5 you where awarded a gold version. These where worn on the upper right sleeve.
