US 1940's WW2 Womens Skirt WAC Enlisted
1940's American women's skirt.
WW2 army skirt for enlisted personal. Worn by various branch of service including nurses and W.A.C.s.
The official military name is "Skirt, wool, O.D. Womens". Worn as part of the enlisted women's uniform.
Can be worn with just the enlisted shirt or with the shirt and short women's Ike jacket or the long enlisted tunic.
The W.A.C.s served all over Europe as Admin staff, mechanics, signals, transportation etc.
