US Army HBT Shirt WW2 1943 Pattern OD 7 Green Shirt by Kay Canvas

US Army WW2 HBT shirt.

Officially called "Jacket, Herringbone Twill, Special OD Shade 7"

This is the standard US Army HBT uniform and is made in the correct OD#7 (Olive drab shade no7) green colour which was introduced in March 1943 and was issued in time for the D-Day landings in Normandy.

Features:

• Metal buttons.
• 2 large chest pockets.
• Gas flap behind the front opening.
• Two metal buttons on the back of the collar to attach the anti gas hood (hood not included)

Shirt Measurements.

The chest is measured with the shirt flat on the floor with the actual measurement of the shirt across the chest from each under arm seam. The sleeve length is from under the arm pit seam to the end of the sleeve cuff. The body length is the back length from the collar seam to the bottom of the shirt.

IMPROVED SIZES.

These are the same correct fabric and design as the previous runs but we have improved the sizing of this 2020 production. After customer feedback we have made some changes to the sizing, in particular we have altered the sleeves and body by making the body length shorter and the sleeves have been re-shaped to make them less baggy and a bit shorter. All these changes some subtle have improved the fit.
