M56 First Aid pouch.
Small pouch which is designed to hold either a first field dressing (FFD) or a folding lenstatic compass.
Standard M1956 pattern FFD pouch which fits into the M56 pistol belt or more typically clipped onto the M56 shoulders by the single metal belt slider on the back of the pouch.
This design of pouch was used during the Vietnam war and was standard issue during the 1960's to the US Army.
This replica pouch is made from cotton canvas and is closed by a single press stud closure.
