US Army Winter trousers by Kay Canvas.

Issued as part of the US Army Winter uniform in WW2, these where popular with Tank crews and vehicle drivers including jeep driver, which is why there are often called tankers trousers. 

These are the second pattern winter trousers , introduced in 1942 and the most popular design seen in WW2.

• Bib and brace lined trousers.
• Wool liner.
• Cotton outer.
• All zips are Talon made and branded.

• Two side zips which allow access to trousers worn underneath,
• Fly zip.
• Press studs on bottom of leg to tighten the ankle cuffs.
• Adjustable shoulder straps fastened with buttons which have the star design on them.

Issued as winter uniform these trousers are great for armoured crews and jeep drivers.

Sizes:

These are design to be a loose fit and to be worn over normal trousers, the waist they fit is when they are worn over M1937 wool trousers, if you are not wearing then over trousers they will be a looser fit. 

Waist measures is the actual measurement of the trousers across the outside of the waist band when the trousers are laid out flat.

Inside leg is measure to the crotch seam, as these are bib and brace they can be worn a bit more baggy than trousers.
