The enlisted mans wool service coat was worn in WW2 with the M1937 wool trousers, M1937 field shirt, tan tie and overseas garrison cap.
American 1942 pattern enlisted service wool 4 pocket tunic features:
- Four front pockets with brass button closures.
- Front is fastened by 4 large brass buttons
- Buttons have the US Army eagle crest design on them.
- Made from specially commissioned wool.
- Inside is part lined in cotton.
- Shoulder epaulettes loops are fastened with a brass button.

Size measurements.
The chest is measured across the front of the tunic from underneath the arms with the tunic laid flat. The waist is measured across the top of the lower pockets. The sleeve is the outside sleeve length from the shoulder seam to the end of the sleeve cuff. The back length is measured from the neck seam to the bottom of the tunic.
