US WW2 M1937 BAR Belt
US WW2 M1937 BAR belt, this is the standard ammunition belt for the BAR used in World War Two by all the American forces including the Infantry and Airborne.
Officially called the "Belt, Magazine, B.A.R., M1937".
The belt has 6 pockets which each hold 2 BAR magazines giving a total carrying capacity of 12 magazines or 10 magazines if you use one of the pockets to carry the special cleaning kit.
There is a row of eyelets across the top and bottom to connect suspenders and 1st aid pouches etc.
The belt is adjustable so the overall length is adjustable from 30" to 50" (76 to 130cm).
Colour: Khaki/tan which was officially called OD#3.
