US WW2 Officers Summer Chino Shirt by Kay Canvas

American WW2 Summer Service Officers shirt by Kay Canvas.

These are more commonly known as Chino shirts and are worn with the US M1937 Summer service chino trousers.

The Officers Chino shirt has long sleeves and shoulder epaulettes and can be worn with just collar badges if being worn with a jacket or with badges like collar badges, rank badges and awards like pilots wings, jump wings or USN ship badges if being worn by itself with no jacket.

The top button can be worn open or fastened and worn with a tan tie. 

These are great for 1940's dances.

The 1940's Chino, Officer's summer service shirt features:

• Two breast pockets fastened with a single button.
• Shoulder epaulettes each with a single button.
• Button up front.
• Correct khaki colour fabric.
• 100% cotton.
• Correct brown coloured buttons.
• Shirt can be fully buttoned up and worn with a tie or the top can be worn open without a tie.
• Single button fastener on the sleeve cuff.
• On the button of the side seams (which tucks into the trousers) the reinforced tab has also been faithfully replicated from the originals.

The label in the neck reads "Shirt, Cotton, Khaki, Officer's"
