American WW2 Womens Enlisted A class dress uniform tunic.

Officially called "Jacket, Wool OD Women's Enlisted".

Worn by the Womens Army Auxiliary Corps (WAAC), the olive drab woolen uniform was the most popular uniform worn by WAAC's and was worn for service (work) and dress (parade) wear. It was popular for  off duty wear also.

Made from the same wool fabric as the enlisted skirt that we also sell.

The reproduction World War Two women's enlisted tunic by Kay Canvas features:

• Front is fastened by 4 large brass buttons.
• Two lower pockets are open top design.
• Two upper pockets are false they are just the pocket flaps with a small brass button closure, this is correct to the original design.
• Shoulder epaulettes are secured down with a small single brass button.
• Brass buttons have the US Army eagle crest on them.
• Two darts on each side of the front which makes for a more fitted look.
