WW2 Camouflage USMC Poncho 1st model Original National 1944
Original WW2 USMC camouflage poncho 1st pattern.
This poncho has been in storage for over 60 years and is still in good used condition, it is a bit stiff/crispy but it is still possible to move it and fold it. It is not as stiff as some of the USMC ponchos we have had. This is not as soft and pliable as when it was new, this one is crispy enough that it makes noise when you move it.
Reversible camouflage pattern sand on one side and green camo on the other.
This is the first model which differs from the more common 2nd model by having only press studs along the edge. The 2nd model has press studs and eyelets.
No holes in the fabric and it is stamped National Jun 14 1944.
