This type of shirt was used from 1860 and were still worn by soldiers in the of the Great war in 1914/15, the design is similar to what railway workers & Post men etc of the Victorian times would have worn

• 1/2 button overhead design 
• Longer rear length.
• Non-Itching fabric.
• Rounded cuff with single 1/2" brass button 
• Blue grey in colour.
• 2 Buttoned half front.
• Top button hole requires a shirt stud 
• 1/2" Brass vintage looking buttons 
• Short striped cotton stand up neck
