M1 Steel Helmet with Vietnam Camo Reversible Cover

This was the most popular type of helmet and camouflage cover used in the Vietnam war, the camouflage cover is the correct Vietnam pattern one which is fully reversible from green to sand camo.

This is the classic Vietnam look.

This Vietnam M1 helmet includes:

• M1 steel shell used army issue.
• Chinstrap design of chinstrap will depend on current stock, it could be the M44 styel in green or blue or the post war green style with a chinscup. Both styles are shown in the pictures.
• Plastic liner with inner suspension and an adjustable headband, new condition.
• Vietnam camouflage helmet cover which is reversible from a green to a sand dominant camouflage pattern new replica. This is often called Mitchel camouflage.

Helmet scrim band is not included.

The M1 helmet is post war issue and is in good used condition, may have some dents in the shell which are not noticable with the cover on. The liner is a new plastic post war version, chinstrap is used and the camouflage cover is a new replica.
