Waffen SS M43 felbluse.
This waffen SS Model 1943 tunic has the all the characteristics of the tunics made for the Waffen SS from 1942, which had minor differences to the Army versions.
The most distinctive feature of the 1943 felbluse was the colour which is now made in a darker greyer colour than previous models which where a greener shade of wool. The modifications to the design of the tunics from the Model 1942 version include the simplified design of the pocket flaps which are now straight across and not shaped like the previous models.

The Waffen SS Model 1943 wool tunic by Richard Underwood Militaria has the following features as found on the originals.
- Darker greyer colour wool than on the previous models which where greener.
- 5 buttons on the front (heer/army model M43 has 6 buttons).
- The four front pockets are a plain design with no centre pleat down the middle of them like on the M36 tunics also the flaps on the pockets have a straight cut design and are not shaped like previous models.
- Plain collar (no green wool covering like on the M36 tunic).
- Black SS collar tabs are correctly sewn on.
- Small metal hook and loop closure on collar.
- 3 buttons on the inside of the collar to attach the collar band, collar band is not included.
- Waffen SS arm eagle and swastika is the later war version design and is sewn on correctly.
- Lower are bellows but are a simplified designed so the sides are not boxed shaped.
- Black shoulder boards with Infantry white piping.
- The back of the collar is backed with linen cloth and is stitched with a zigzag pattern to strengthen the collar.
- The sleeve cuffs can be tightened/adjusted by two buttons.
- Lining is made from sateen rather than cotton like on the M36.
- 4 sets of eyelet holes for belt hooks, two sets on the front and two sets on the back. Each set has 2 vertical eyelets. Army versions have 3 vertical eyelets.
- Internally there are 4 strap loops made from the same sateen fabric as the liner with 4 eyelets at the end of each strap which match up to the eyelets on the tunic for the belt hooks.
