These are the standard WW2 US military issue style dog tags with the notch cut out. 

The A.R.C. seemed to have had various information stamped onto dog tags but the following information seems to be the most common, which follows the US military style.

The information on the ARC dog tags is as follows:

• Line 1. Surname. First name
• Line 2. ARC. 5 digit number. Year of tetanus inoculation. Blood group.
• Line 3. Blank
• Line 4. Blank
• Line 5. Religion.

The American red cross had a 5 digit serial number and in the 1940's there was no negative or positive in blood groups.
