WW2 German Heer Army StuG Trousers By RUM
WW2 German Army (Heer) StuG trousers in field grey by Richard Underwood Militaria.
Also know as the Sturmartillerie (Assault Artillery) trousers.
This is the Heer (Army) version of the StuG trouser, it is basically the same as the Heer black panzer trousers but in field grey colour. The design of the panzer trousers was deemed as suitable for StuG crews but as they could be outside of the vehicle more or exposed than Panzer crews it was decided that the field grey colour would be better suited. As the field grey colour uniform was also the same colour as the infantry uniform they blended in better when mixed in with the infantry.
These StuG trousers match the Richard Underwood StuG Wrap over and are made from the same quality wool and are made to the correct Army pattern.
The StuG Feldhose are made from the same wool as the StuG Wrap over and like the Wrap over the Army and Waffen SS had slightly different patterns of trousers. The most easily identifiable feature are the pocket flaps the Army version pocket flaps are secured by a single button and the Waffen SS model is closed by two buttons.
Price is for the trousers only, the wrap over tunic is available separately see below under related products.
