German winter parka, reversible from grey to white.
This is a Richard Underwood quality replica of the popular winter parka used by the German Heer (Army) and Luftwaffe in WW2.
Fully reversible from the grey/green colour to plain white. This parka in usually called the grey parka but the actual colour is a shade of grey/green. The grey parka was first introduced in the Winter of 1942/43 and was worn by both Army and SS units, later on the Army would introduce camouflage versions.

The grey parka was first introduced in the Winter of 1942/43 and was worn by both Army and SS units, later on the Army would introduce camouflage versions.
This grey reversible parka has the following features:
- Grey green colour on one side.
- White on the inside and it is fully reversible.
- Insulation is a wool blanket layer sewn in between the camouflage and white cotton layers.
- Waist belt is also reversible, one side is blue grey the other is white.
- Fixed hood is unlined just like the originals.
- Two lower pockets which are closed by flaps with button closures.
- Cord around the bottom hem so you can pull it in tight.
- Straps with buttons on each wrist so you can adjust the cuffs.
- The front is closed by standard German metal buttons with pebble finish.
- Extra panel of fabric on the elbows for extra wear.
- Oversized hood so it can be worn over the helmet.
- Fully insulated (apart from the hood).

Size measurements. These measurements are taken with the parka lying on the floor, the back length is from the collar seam on the back to the bottom of the parka. The sleeve length is the outside length from the shoulder seam to the end of the sleeve cuff. The chest is from under each arm across the front of the chest, this is the outside measurement you will need to allow for the thickness of the liner.
