WW2 German Spanish Cross Silver Award

Awarded to any German troops serving in Spain( Army Navy or Airforce)
When the Spanish Civil War began in 1936, Germany sent troops to help Francisco Franco's nationalist forces.
Germany introduced the "Spanish Cross" award on the 14th April 1939 for all those German troops who participated in the Spain. It was worn on the right side of the uniform on the pocket below the pocket flap.
The Silver award was a merit badge so you had to have 3 month service in Spain and served with merit.
Price is for 1 x Spanish Cross in silver with a pin back fastener.
This have a worn finish to them.
